Make a difference. Committees form the backbone of CIC Midwest Membership at MHA.  You should be part of this important association network.  Review the subcommittees below and compare the activities and duties with your own interest/specialty. It's a great way to network and be on the cutting edge of what's happening in the Common Interest Community field.

The CIC Midwest Planning Committee oversees the membership and meets quarterly to hear reports from each of the five subcommittees.  Each member of the Planning Committee must be on one of the following subcommittees.

EDUCATION

Oversees the Lunch & Learns and develops programs to meet the educational needs of the membership.

CIC MIDWEST NEWS

Assigns and coordinates articles and ads from industry professionals for the quarterly publication.

RESOURCES

Identifies the resources needed to succeed in daily CIC management and makes them available to the membership. Includes the Email Hotline, the website and other materials.

MEMBERSHIP/MARKETING

Works with other committees to promote membership recruitment, retention and appreciation.  Works to increase CIC visibility, promote CIC events and educational offerings.  Includes the MADACS Award for CIC Property Excellence.

LEGISLATIVE

Monitors and updates the membership on legislative issues at the state and local levels.
