Committees

Purpose: To help CIC Members achieve the industry standard of
excellence in professional CIC management through education; and
to provide the tools needed to succeed in daily CIC Management,
including information, resources and networking.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversee CIC education, resources and publish a high-quality
quarterly publication.
2. Promote membership satisfaction, recruitment, and retention.
Continually develop, evaluate and enhance member benefits.
Promote the CIC MADACS category and encourage entries.
3. Survey the needs of our members. Develop and make available
resources to meet those needs.
4. Provide opportunities for our product/service members to promote
to the general membership through advertising, flyer mailing
program, sponsorships, CIC Directory and other avenues.

CIC Midwest Subcommittees

Education: Chair: Mel Schultz, New Concepts Management.
Oversees the CIC Midwest Lunch & Learn Meetings, CCAM and
ACCAM, and board education. Develops programs to meet the
needs of the membership.

Publications: Chair: Darby Bitzan, ServiceMaster Cleaning &
Restoration/Superior Construction. Assigns and coordinates articles
from industry professionals for the quarterly CIC Midwest News
publication.

Resources: Chair: Matt Lupkes, Greensboro Square
Condominiums. Identifies, develops and creates resources for CICs.

Marketing/Membership: Chair: Andy Morton, American Building
Contractors. Works to promote (1) membership recruitment,
retention and satisfaction; (2) member recognition; (3) and
Communication/Promotion/Marketing.

Legislative: Chairs: Deanna Price, New Concepts Management;
and Jack Bouquet, Hellmuth & Johnson. Monitor bills of interest to
CICs. Take appropriate action when needed.

Committee Member Characteristics: Dedicated to promoting and
developing CIC Midwest membership, education and resources.
Commitment to expanding and improving CIC offerings and meeting
the needs of members. Entrepreneurial, creative and enthusiastic
leaders.
